North Jakarta Vice Mayor, Juaini Yusuf reminded the importance of providing breastfeeding for toddlers to get maximum growth.

"I hope that this exclusive breastfeeding campaign needs to be carried out continuously to create a golden generation in the future," he added.
Meanwhile, North Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head, Lysbeth Regina Pandjaitan, said it is hoped that this program will increase the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding for children in North Jakarta.
The achievement of early initiation of breastfeeding (IMD) in newborns in the North Jakarta area was recorded as having successfully reached 95 percent for health centers. Then, for IMD in regional general hospitals (RSUD) and private hospitals, it has only reached 70 percent.
"The percentage of babies under six months of age who receive exclusive breastfeeding in North Jakarta is 81.9 percent, exceeding the national target of 80 percent," she stated.
Lysbeth continued that North Jakarta Health Sub-agency is ready to intensify exclusive breastfeeding activities with various programs. Good breast milk is given for one hour after the baby is born and then continued for six months or more.
"Exclusive breastfeeding is very important for the health of children and mothers. I hope all parties will support this exclusive breastfeeding," she stated.
